To honour the relics of the saints, elaborately crafted shrines were created in silver and gold. Probably the most valuable piece in the collection is the 14th century reliquary cross, a Venetian piece of craftmanship that probably arrived in San Candido as a gift. The crossbars and fleur-de-lis are cut from a single rock crystal.
