Library and parlours

The newer library with works from the 16th century onwards was the reference library for the provosts. It contains various editions of the Bible, theological treatises, writings on canon law and church history as well as teaching material for the cathedral school. The parlour dates from the middle of the 16th century, as does the tiled stove with corner lions and the coat of arms of the canons. The parlour was used as the provost’s study and classroom of the Latin school.
