Paintings and frescoes

In 1600, when Peter Ryst was dean of the collegiate chapter, the hall on the first floor of the chapter house was decorated with the coats of arms of the canons and the list of abbots (until 1140 AD) and provosts (from 1140 AD). The many portraits complete the picture of the canons who have served here.

The so-called perennial nativity scene from the 18th century is a special cycle of pictures, with one painting for each of the feast days of the Lord, Mary and the saints, 37 in total.
