Textile treasures

Among the special exhibits of the collection are many elaborately embroidered vestments, such as the chasuble, a sleeveless liturgical vestment from 1380, or the magnificent processional dresses of Our Lady of Sorrows from the 18th century. They depict Mary as a grieving mother, but also as the victorious Queen of Heaven.
